Paralegal - Wills & Estates

Our Vancouver client is seeking a Wills & Estates Paralegal to join their team. This position would be a great opportunity for an experienced professional looking for a collegial and supportive work environment with flexibility to meet the candidate’s circumstances and the firm’s needs.

 

General Responsibilities:

 

  • Draft wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other estate planning documents
  • Prepare and file documents with the court for probate and estate administration
  • Assist with the process of administering an estate, which can include the sale of property and other assets
  • Conduct due diligence searches and provide comprehensive summaries to assist in decision-making processes
  • Liaise with all internal and external parties involved in the transaction, including the preparation of correspondence
  • Assist with other responsibilities as needed

 

Qualifications & Attributes:

The ideal candidate will possess 5+ years of experience handling Wills & Estates Paralegal work, excellent organizational skills, high attention to detail, and a proven ability to handle assigned tasks independently and as part of a team.
