Our Vancouver law firm client is looking for a HR/Admin Clerk to add to their Admin team.
The successful candidate must have law firm experience. The HR/Admin Clerk will be responsible for administrative tasks including HR, reception, marketing, and accounting. This role would be good for someone interested in developing into an HR role. Marketing is not the main focus of the job, but previous marketing skills and experience would be an asset.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and organize socials (summer/winter social, some snack and drink events)
- HR tasks (inputting days off etc).
- Some reception coverage as the successful candidate would be part of the Admin team
- Some marketing tasks
- Some accounting (disbursement posting)
- Helping with boardroom scheduling/lunch if needed
- Assisting with setup for new incoming staff (office setup, stamp/card ordering)
- Kitchen maintenance (ordering of supplies, general tidiness)
- Assist with facilities maintenance (call in lights that need changing)
- Be the check in person for staff working remotely
- Order general stationary supplies
- Support the Director of Operations with day to day tasks
Salary: 55-60k per annum, dependent on experience
